Hey guys,
I’m facing a dilemma and I’d like to get some suggestions.
Here is the situation – I’m filming a short film on my XL2 soon and initially I was thinking to use some digital recorder for sound, but now I’m considering another possibility to record directly on XL2 with boom and some high-end shotgun.
What is your experience with recording sound directly on XL2? Would you suggest doing that or should I use a separate recorder? (Obviously sound has to be somewhat decent, since I’m thinking to submit the film to festivals)
My second question is – what 35mm DOF converter would you suggest for XL2? (except P+S technik because of the price issue)
