Second Camera Advice
Hi folks,
I use an XL2 for a variety of shoots and am now breaking into the wedding video part of the business. As a second camera for 2-camera shoots I was considering purchasing another XL2. However, I'd like your suggestions into other options. What do most of you folks use as a second or a backup? Thanks |

You CAN make anything work but I would recommend another XL2. If you shoot 16:9, the HVX is another option as it has true 16:9. You could also use any of the HDV cameras and shoot them in SD, the Sonys match the XL2 pretty well unless you shoot 24P.

Thanks Ash.
I'm leaning heavily toward the XL2 for several reasons, mostly the fact that it's easier to jump from one camera to another without having to rethink the operations of the camera. The negative in this is the cost. Plunking nearly $4000 for another camera is a little steep. However, it's probably well worth it. Marc S |
