UV Filter

I am shooting a performance on a stage at the beach. I want to purchase a UV filter to protect my lens. How is the qualtity or the FS-72U filter set that Canon offers?

Make sure it has a coating......Tiffen does not.

I've always used the clear glass filters for protection, they seem to work very well
