homemade windscreen

after reading through the search results for windscreens, i found a post by Tyson Persall suggesting that a windscreen could easily be homemade and much cheaper than, say an EQ-XL1. So i went out to my fabric store and found something i thought might work. It helped, but isn't quite thick enough to get rid of some of the wind noise.

My question is this. What's the best thick furry material i can find and where do i buy it? The only thing i could find was something called fashion fur at Joann's, but it was pink, and i'm not that desperate! Any other suggestions for a material that would accomplish the same thing are welcome of course, i don't have any kind of allegiance to fur.

Thanks

Raji
