XL2 Analog outputs uncompressed?

Is the analog output of the XL2 considered uncompressed or did it go through some compression stages? It would be nice if it was uncompressed or very lightly compressed (akin to 4:2:2).

Rumor has it that the output is uncompressed. I have been meaning to try to get confirmation. This info was tossed out on another video forum but AFAIK was never confirmed.

I can say that last week I was hired to do a shoot where we didn't roll tape. Just used my XL-2 cameras via BNC cable into a switcher feeding projectors on each side of the stage. Looked pretty good to me.

Having uncompressed would be interesting for green-screen with the proper capture hardware. I guess to make sure, I'll have to get my hands on the technical/maintenance manual and look at the schematics. Anybody know if it can be found on-line?

I was looking into the AJA IoLA (http://www.aja.com/products_Io.html) for capturing. But if the output of the XL2 is compressed, then it won't matter. Might as well capture DV all the way.
