xl2 Lightwave Systems isolators

are these really worth the price. and should i get the mini mount and the viewfinder isolator or just one of them? also, does that mic cover make a big difference like they say.
amazing how quickly they add up in $$$$$$.
thanks in advance.

btw, i have noticed how loud the tape transport system now that i am paying more attention to sound. its pretty bad when you have the levels up to the high side of normal

Yes, they do work and I'd say they a both worth the price. I suppose you could do without the mic isolator if you never zoom while recording but I'd call the mic shroud indispensible if you ever shoot outdoors.
