"search this forum" button doesn't work

Can someone please repeat the instructions for correcting the following:

my "search this forum" button doesn't work, either on mac or pc. I click on it and nothing happens.

I think the search functions are still broken when you're at the FORUM level. They seem to work sometimes while viewing an individual thread. The search function always seems to work if you're at the top level (eg: click on the DVI logo). There you can click on search, then "advanced search" where you can choose your desired forum by scrolling the list on the bottom right.

But the good news is that Chris and Jeff are very much aware of this problem, and yesterday they said they had a fix which would be implemented very soon. So just be patient a little longer :-)

Right click the search button as a work around, I use Mozilla not Explorer so I'm not sure if it has disabled some scripts that drive the function, either way, I use the right click and open another TAB in Mozilla and search all day long.

Yes, Right-click also works in MS Internet Explorer 6.x

Not in mac

Right click doesn't enable the search function in mac OSX.
