Anyone using the 16x9 Inc .7 wide angle adaptor?

This wide angle adaptor seems like a great fit for the XL2. Does anyone have it? Does it soften the image or vignette at widest angle? It seems like something you could leave on the camera permanently and have a really wide angle plus a still very good telephoto zoom. Wonder what the specs for the 20x lens are with that attached... would the wide angle setting be below 4mm?

Never used it. Had a Cavision one just to try it out, though. Although it was decent it didn't even come close to the Canon 3x. But, I guess that was to be expected.
