Transferring Gl-1 footage via Roxio Stick
I got this Roxio Easy VHS to DVD stick and software. It works great for VHS tapes, but when I plug my Canon Gl-1 into the Roxio stick, I get nothing going through. What's the deal here and how can I make this work?

Re: Transferring Gl-1 footage via Roxio Stick
Are you connecting using the cable that has 3.5mm to 3 RCA jacks? I've found that sometimes the TRRS order of those cables are different based on manufacturer. Try plugging the red or white ends of the connecting cable into the yellow plug on the Roxio to see if the video comes through.

Hadn't thought of that since the VHS stuff works fine.

You're coming out of the GL1 with a 3.5mm connection, and then plugging in the RCA jacks to the roxio, correct?

Yes, that is correct. So far have had no success and switching the inputs around as suggested earlier didn't work.
