Canon's Warrenty Dept. (headphone jack broke)
Over this weekend, while filming a wedding - I noticed that my headphone jack on the back of My XL-2 started to fail (cheap 1/8 plug!).
Anyways - I was thinking about calling up Canon and getting it repaired - but I'm not sure what their turnaround time is on repairs. Since I use the camera a lot - I can't really afford to be without it for any long periods of time. Has anyone else had issues with their XL-2 and had them repaired? If so - what was the turn-around time. If it helps - I bought the camera from B+h Photo. If it's a ling period of time, I just might bring it to a local camera shop to get the jack repaired, insead of foing through Canon's Warrenty department. Ryan |
