Monitor for XL1s
Has anyone used a Canon XL1s with a attached monitor.?
Looking to purchase a 7" monitor. Which one. |

I used a Varizoom 5" mounted on the hot shoe. It wasn't good for much more than composition. There's nothing special about the XL1S that you need a specific kind of monitor other than one that supports composite video in. Search here on DVINFO on the many threads asking about what monitor to use. I use an HDSDI Marshall that also takes component and composite inputs. It's awesome on my XL1S compared to the junky Varizoom. You get what you pay for.
