transferring problem?

I am not sure if this is the right spot to post this but I have a question. I've heard that sometimes after filming with an XL on dv and doing the offiline edit, that the timecode in the EDL is not completely right while transferring it to, for instance Digibeta.

We are shooting 24p and pal, for the record.

greetings Djee
