Looking for an adapter...

Hi,
OK, I bought a small Panasonic LCD monitor for the top of the cam:

http://tinyurl.com/9yjx9

but the handle of the XL-2 has no threaded hole to screw the adapter into (as almost every other camera has), so I'm looking for a threaded adapter that fits into the hotshoe on the top of the XL-2 that will accept my monitor adapter.
Anybody seen one of these?

Thanks again. I'm having a tough week.

Any photo retailer such as Ritz Camera will stock that item. Walk in and buy one.

Try your local used camera store. You should be able to find exactly what you're looking for. Remember hotshoes are pretty standard across all makes (nikon, canon, pentax.)

I also found this with an adjustable hinge:

I thought so, too. But found none at Ritz, none at Penn Camera and none at Industrial camera. The last two being high end shops. Nor could I find one at B&H, 'course I didn't really know what to call it in B&H-speak.
