New Discovery
Hey Derek, Check this out...
you know the circular knob on the back of the firestore that you took off, well I discovered that the screw matches the size and threads of the XL2's backplate, now what else is so odd is that the hole lines up perfectly with the hole on the back of the firestore when mounted. http://visualmasterpiece.com/user_ph...store_xlm4.JPG http://visualmasterpiece.com/user_ph...store_xlm3.JPG So their is no way its going anywhere, what a great mount, and it leaves room for all the fans to circulate. Ok, so the velcro was good enough, and this is semi-permanent...but this just gives a bit extra security. oh, and I also went out and bought a retractable firewire cable, a much cleaner look and less hassle for only $10. this mount kit totally beats the optional one from the company at $120. You should be! It's a great idea and it's really the right price too!
