Camera shutter speed cannon XL2?

Hi

I have a cannon XL2 and shooting a object on a spinning table, for something that moving and turning 360
should the shutter be more open or closed.
My pictures seen to be a little blurred and grainy..

It seems for me, that you have not enough light on the object.
How is the camera setting?
