Installation Notes for XL2 Presets Manager
Here is the setup procedure for XL2 Presets Manager:
Connect your camera to your laptop or desktop PC using an IEE1394 DV cable. Your computer must be running the Windows XP operating system. At this point do not turn your camera on.
You will need this information later while installing the drivers. The default location will be Program Files / Blue Barn Pictures. We recommend that you install to this directory. After the application has installed:
asked: "Can Windows connect to Windows Update to search for software?"
will be: "Program Files\Blue Barn Pictures\Camera Storage 1394 WIA Driver" After the wizard has installed the AV/C driver, a scanner and camera wizard might appear; you can simply close this wizard. Your presets manager and drivers should now be installed. Have fun! |

If you spend 20 of 30 minutes searching through posts on this forum you will find a lot of others. Ash Greyson has posted a few along with some others.
I have attached (in a zip file) the ones that I have collected from this forum - including the ones that you will find in the above link. I have tried to give credit to the authors (when I could) of each one. Oh yes... you will need the Blue Barn software to transfer these to your XL2. Tim
