XL2 Audio question

I am trying to get aquainted with my new friend.

I recorded some quick test footage and transferred the video and could almost not hear the audio.

This was recorded with the front mic on auto.

I had to go to manual and turn up the audio to hear anything at all.

Is there something i am missing ?

Thanks

What were the audio level indicators doing during the recording? They should be dancing across the scale in accordance with fluctuations in background noise level. If you have just taken the thing out of the box an obvious suggestion is to make sure that the microphone plugs are fully seated in their jacks.
