XL2 vs. GL2 for public access cable?
I am currently part of my town's public access cable television station, and we are thinking about upgrading our cameras. If we have the budget for both, what would you say is the better choice?

It's mostly a question of portability (GL2) vs. adaptability (XL2).
If you originate mostly 16:9 widescreen programming, then you'll want the XL2. If you desire all of the modular features and interchangeability, again it's the XL2. If you need to be less obtrusive in public situations or prefer a highly portable camera, then go for the GL2. Hope this helps, |

It definitely does help. Thanks Chris. This is basically what I figured out from lurking around here for a while, but I wanted to be sure.
Thanks again, Michael Edit: Which camera would you say has the better image quality? |
