Two Lavalier mics for XL2
Rookie question/concern.
If I hook-up two lavalier mics for an interviewer and interviewee and have the standard 16 bit setting - it appears and sounds like the left mic is on CH 1 and the right is on CH 2. That said, when listening to the audio while recording the sound only comes in the corresponding ear. Can I adjust the audio later in a program like Final Cut to have stereo sound for each person miked up? Thanks. |

This really isn't an XL2 question, it's more of a Final Cut Pro question, but the answer is yes, you can pan each channel over to the other side for a good "mix." To get the particulars, you'll want to post this question in our Non-linear DV Editing on the Mac forum. Hope this helps,
