Hi All,

I just got the XL2 and I have no idea what the hell I am doing. Does anyone have a suggestion of good literature that covers the basics?

Hi Jeffrey,

Start with the owner's manual. Sit down with the camera in hand and read through the manual. Be sure you understand each section before going on to the next one.

Then be sure to look over my site, the XL2 Watchdog at www.xl2info.net. Lots of good reading there.

Also look over this forum... all of the frequently asked questions are right here. It's the largest XL2 message board on the planet, period.

Finally, if you need a tutorial DVD, pick one up from my friend Greg Salman at www.canondvguide.com. Hope this helps,
