Instructional video
I was just wondering if there was some sort od DVD or online site with an instructional video on how to use the XL2. I bought it just to make some docs. and films. Nothing big. I got the Adobe Pro Package and I have a good computer. I just want to be able to use all this and not let it collect dust.

Greg Salman, an L.A. area filmmaker whom I have known personally for several years, is about to release his XL2 instuctional DVD. See his site at http://www.canondvguide.com/. We'll have some reviews of his series available here soon. Like myself, Greg has been a member of the "Stringer" team of consultants that Canon USA has turned to for help at trade show counters and the like, so he definitely knows what he's talking about.

Here is a site that sells all kinds of instructional videos. I know this one is for the XL-1 but I'm sure they'll have the XL-2 to follow. Chris Hurd's option looks to be the best solution right now though.
