about to buy mine:) Anyone in Portland OR area?
I'm about to purchase my XL2 at the 4300.00 price. I think regardless of some of the negative feedback, still sounds like the camera for me. Just a couple of concerns.
1 - noticed some postings about Final Cut HD and XL2 compatibility problems? (I use Final Cut Pro 4 and about to upgrade to HD version) Or if i keep at the Final Cut Pro 4 version, are there still any compatiblity problems? 2 - is it truly worth getting the extended service contract? (Locally in Seattle, where I can pick one up for 4300.00, they don't have a place that offers the extended contract) (Might purchase instead via mail order from B&H instead if I need the contract). And a question, anybody out there in Portland OR or outlining cities near Portland area know of a place to purchase at 4300.00 price plus offer the option of the extended Maint. contract? (That is other than Magnolia HiFI who refuses to go below the original $5,000.00 tag price.) |

Try Zotz Digital (click on link) I believe they're in Oregon. Ask for Brian or Tom, they're great, and also sponsers of this community too!

THANKS
Thanks Chris for your response about the dealer in OR. I was hoping something closer to Portland though. 4 hour drive as opposed to 7hours from Seattle area.
