Porta Brace CTC-3 Traveler or CO-PC Carry-On
Can anyone tell me the advantage/disadvantage of these two cases for the XL2:
Porta Brace CTC-3 Traveler or CO-PC Carry-On I have an XL2 w/ 20x attached + Wireless mic bracket + Sennheiser MKH416 all attached and need a case that will allow this setup w/o disassembly. I currently have a LowePro case and the camera fits very tight....Now that I have added the wireless mic bracket on the back it wont fit.

Hi Greg,
Sorry no help with the case, but I do have a question. Is the wireless mic bracket you are talking about a Canon product or 3rd party, or did you make the bracket youreslf? Can you post a pic? Love to see it. I shoot with wirelss almost exclusively so this is of great interest to me.

it came with the xl2. It is the battery/wireless bracket that attaches to the rear.
I added a Lectrosonics cage for the UCR210 which attaches perfectly on the plate. The whole unit actually balances out just right.

Thanks for all the advise....I got the CO-PC and it seems to be a perfect fit for a fully loaded XL2.
