XL2 extended warrantee
looking to find out if anyone actually buy the extended warrantee for the xl2 - was offered warrantee thru MACK for either 2 or 4yrs - looking for any past experiences which may warrant a extension

i guess i must be asking a stupid question - but reason i ask it that i dont usually buy extended warranty - but i have never purchased a cam this expensive b4 so

Some swear by extended warranties, others swear at them:
http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthrea...light=warranty I'm a "pay-as-you-go" sort of guy, and in the long run, I have come out way ahead to NOT buy the warranties. But I can afford pay out of pocket to fix or replace the occasional gizmo that fails (most DON'T fail within the terms of an extended warranty). If an out-of-warranty failure would be catastrophic to you, the warranty might buy you peace of mind.
