XL2 in Vancouver?

Seeing how there are lots of Canadians here.

Is the XL2 in Vancouver? When, where, how much? Anyone have one?

Any dealers in Vancouver confirm that they have this?

Are the XL series of lenses readily available for rent?

Yah, I'm a Sony guy, but the XL2 seems to be prefect with minor (and non visual) flaws.....starting to drool.

The camera has been delayed in Canada apparently due to Ivan.

Precision Camera would be pleased to order one for you. Contact phil. Mine comes at the end of the month.

Leo's Camera will likely be one of the first ones to have them in stock. Not that I endorse Leo's, just that Lorne Lapham doesn't carry Canon.

$6100cdn would be a spectacular price here if it is selling for $5000us. Especially from Leos. That puts it at only $1200cdn more than a DVX100. I expected something more like $7000cdn from Leos.
