XL2 on national network TV
Tonight on the NFL Network- Directv Ch 212 (7PM EDT tonight). Check out the show "Point After". It features locker room interviews of all the NFL games this past weekend.
If you catch the SAINTS vs SEAHAWKS piece it was shot with a XL2 (Saints locker room) and PD150 (Seahawks locker room) This might be a good time to evaluate the difference in the two cameras. This could also be an opportunity to see audio differences. The audio is provided by a MULT BOX and sent to LINE IN. Please NOTE: I did NOT shoot this, I sent out our rookie team. Not responsible for bad camera work. Also note- This is all shot using existing locker room lighting. No lights are allowed to be set up. Usually the lighting consists of direct overhead florescent lighting (very low ceiling).

I just reviewed the footage. It will be difficult to make a fair comparrison because the cameramen did a poor job. They are framed differently and the lighting is very different between the two setups. The XL2 is overexposed, but still looks sharper than the PD150.
Hopefully they will both make corrections next week based on my suggestions and we can make a better comparison between the two cameras in a broadcast situation.
