Internal Fuse Issue & Canon Corporate
Hi,
I realize that the issue of the internal fuse blowing has been covered in depth here but I have a question. Whether it's the FU 1000 or replacing a lens while the battery pack is still on the camera or doing the same when then camera is in stand-by, has anyone taken this issue to management to see if they're addressing it? I love this camera, it's truly magnificent but this issue along with the fact that there's no way we can solve the problem without having to send the camera in is very troubling. I realize that one must take a second while changing lenses etc and think through the process, but as with what's happened to me twice now in three years, sometimes you just don't have that extra second. I'm doing a four week shoot in Zanzibar next year and I'm very, very hesitant to use this Canon product for the above reason. As wonderful as tech support is, does anyone know who the name of who I could get in touch with at corporate who I could actually discuss this with? Many thanks in advance, Sprague Theobald |
