Infinite focus on the 16x manual lens?
I was configuring the cam with different presents, and started to calibrate the back-focus on the 16x manual lens.
(Everything viewed on a JVC broadcast monitor.) One thing I hadnt noticed before was that when I focus to infinity at full telephoto, the background is out of focus. One possibility is that the focus wheel over-crank (Pic. no 1.). I just wonder because if you look at the attached picture, you can se that the line with infinite symbol isn't lined. But when I focus so the line is aligned (Pic. no 2.), the focus I achieved through full telephoto to the widest angel. I would be glad to hear from another 16x or 14x owner if this is common problem. So is this standard? Or does it need service for proper focus? Thanks for input. David Last edited by David Odell; April 7th, 2008 at 02:17 PM. |
