replacing a blown main fuse in XL2
Hello all,
I see that there have been many with blown fuse problems. I have just blown my second in under a year, and I can't attribute it to any single action. I am careful not to change my lens when it is turned on, I don't use a FU-1000 (although I'd like to) etc. I am using an Anton Bauer battery pack, the Dionic 90, and I wonder if it has anything to do with it. My question is however, is there anyone out there who has been successful in replacing this fuse by themselves? I realize this is perhaps a risky proposition but I am feeling brave and I would like to avoid sending it back. The camera is no longer under any warranty and I sort of feel like the price on them has come down so much that it might be worth an attempt to fix myself. If someone can offer some advice, I would appreciate it. Thanks, Phil |
