XL2, 30p,4:3 edit in FCP

I have a client that has an XL2 and wants to shoot 30p 4:3 to tape. I edit with FCP 5 and 6. Do I just use firewire NTSC DV easy setup, capture and edit as usual? Or, do I need to change the Sequence Settings to no fields? I have seen someone else suggest to also set the compression in the Settings to DVC Pro 50 NTSC (or ProsRes in FCP6) so it becomes 4:2:2 on output and keeps the new graphics looking better since it will not to take a hit on output by using DV again.
Everything will be done for the web viewing progressive and also maybe DVD.

I shoot the same way (except 16:9). You have it right...just use the NTSC DV easy setup and you're good to go.
