WA adaptor - Century or Red Eye?

I currently use the Century .6x WA on the 20x lens, but suffer with no polariser capability - if I switched to a screwin Red Eye .7 I could stack the polariser filter behind it - but can't think if this would affect the angle of view or focussing of the 20x.
I wouldn't intend to use any zoom through anyway, just trying to get WIDE shots.

So any experiences of the Red Eye on the 20x what be appreciated folks, and is there any noticeable difference in image quality between the Century and the Red Eye?

Have not use the Red-Eye so I cannot speak specifically to it, but be aware that in some cases mounting a WA adapter on a filter may cause some vignetting when at/near full wide. The Red-Eye web site tips warns abut this possibility. http://www.red-eye.tv

I have owned three Red Eye Lenses - .5X and .7X aspheric & the .7X FX (HDV).

Forget placing a PL filter under the .5X for it provides far too much colour fringing and other problems and I only use it sometimes for underwater footage.

The Cir Polariser can be placed beneath the .7X though, and I sometimes do this, although not as often as I do with the Canon 3X lens.

The Aspheric Red Eye is good, but not as good as the latest Red Eye FX HDV version.

You can filter the newer versions of the Century .6x. To tell if you have a newer version, just look at attachment from the top view looking down at it and if there is a difference in the two rings (ei, one smaller than the other) then you cannot filter it. If the lock rings are flush between the two, then you can filter it. Or just look for the threads on the front element.

We manufacture an 102mm polarizer which will work fine. The only issue is that to aviod vingette we had to make it without a rotating ring. Therefore we made the threads extra deep to compensate and the polarization effect can be done by screwing the filter on and off but it won't come out (it really takes a lot of turns to come out). I don't have a link on website but if you go to one of the sponsors here and tell them that you want a Century 102mm Polarizer, they can get it for you.
