Canon PHOTO lenses for XL2?
If I get the adapter could I use a still picture lense for the xl2? Also if so what adapter?

Yes Scott you can use almost all the Canon stills lenses.
Remember that the crop factor is huge nearly 8x in 16:9 and that your AF should be turned OFF when using the adaptor.

esy, once that adapter goes on, your zooming in, if you want an idea this was with 400mm lens/EF Adapeter/XL2
