blue barn isn't working for me
It gives me some sort of random error... I have the firewire plugged in and on the ext. mode. Any thoughts?

I have had the same luck, mine turned out to be my operating system. Windows Vista is not supported, must be XP.

Same thing for me too. Got it to work once on my XP system, then never again. I tried everything I could, it simply would not work. I just use it now to save settings, and manually input the settings in by hand.

Here is a thought,
I have found a lot of these programs do not run well when you have background programs running!! You might go to options and turn off some of the 30 plus programs that are running all the time!! I keep my video editing computer cleared and I even turn off the firewall, just keep it disconnected from the internet!
