DVX100 Tapes digitized by Canon A1?
Hi
I have to digitize four tapes shot on the DVX100a. I dont have access to that camera anymore. I am wondering if I can dig the footage in on my Canon A1. I would be willing to settle for 30fps digitizing (the footage was shot 24p). Does anyone know if this will work? Thanks in advance. |

Hi Michael,
Since you have the tapes and the camcorder, you're in the best position to go ahead and answer this for yourself. Try it and let us know how it works. There should be no problems involved with 24p playback from the XH A1. |

DVX100 Tapes digitized by Canon A1?
I have both cameras. My DVX is currently out of commission and I have been capturing tapes all week on my XH A1. No problems on my end.

Thanks for the responses! Robbie that is a huge relief.

If they dont work on the A1 I would have to rent a DVX. It would be too late Saturday night to do that. Looks like I wont need to worry. Thanks again. |
