Here's a sample for a short spec I'm working on... color not corrected yet, this is raw footage... comments welcome...

Very nice. One comment: looks like you may have shot on auto exposure as the exposure changes during a few of the shots when you pan up to the sky and it stops down. I wouldn't shoot on auto-anything, if you can help it.

What was the shutter speed for most of this?

Nice editing and timing...

What were your settings (frame, shutter, nd filter)?

It may have just been the render but it seemed to have some interlaced artifacts...? Not sure if you shot 60i or not but it would probably look VERY sweet to do 24p with a preset to really push the colors to a really edgy state...

Just a thought.. Looks really nice though...

George,

Aside from camera work that Doug & Jeff have commented on, do you think you need more text to set the scene e.g. It's hot.....I'm thirsty .....(play the point)...job done, and then have lady sipping on product?

Regards,

Brendan

Thanks for the kudos, and for the suggestions...

I did have it on Auto...my bad. I didn't think I had too much time to shoot this and I did it on auto to save time...I know, I know. What was I thinking?

It was shot in 24f. I'll be finishing it up with color correction, text, etc in the next week or so when I get back from New York.

That was pretty cool, I bet it'll look great after you do some more work in post. Nicely done!
