how to downcovert m2t to avi in-camera?

I recorded something by accident as HDV, but at home I only have the PPRO 2 demo with no HDV. It was recorded onto a firestore. How can I convert it to AVI so I can use it at home? Is there a way on camera it can be done? Or in the firestore?

with you camera: record the stuff from the firestore to your camera, then record the stuff from the tape with dv conversion set to 'ON' back to your computer or firestore.

with your pc: get the software 'StreamClip' - it converts to a massive amount of formats.

Set the camera to play back.

Click on 'Menu' button.

Select Signal Setup.

Scroll down to HD Down-Convert and set it to 'On'.
