Question about price differences on a1

I'm looking to get a new camcorder soon. So I've been doing some research and I would like to be in $1000 range. I've noticed online that I can get the xh a1 for as low as $1,149.00, yet others as high as 5 or 6K! Circuit city is asking $3,400. My question is, and I understand some packages offer extended warranties, cases, tripods, etc. But with Circuit city for example, as far as I can tell, it's just the camera and whatever comes in the box and the factory warranty.
This is my first post so I hope I don't break the rules here, but look at this website:

http://www.bestpricecameras.com/prod...?prodid=674426

It say's it's brand new, not refurbished. So, if it comes with the standard factory warranty, battery, charger, camera.... Why not go with this awesome camera as opposed to the lesser hv20? Am I missing something?

Be very leary of offers like that. They'll get you somehow with shipping or something like the lens is not included. Yeah, I know, it's a fixed lens. But you'd be surprised.

Best deals for a new XH-A1 are in the $3000 range with rebate.

Yea, that looks like a bait and switch. IIRC, best price camera's is a scam bait&switch site. I wouldn't order from a site that offers it for less than $3000.

Please go here:

Enter the information in the "Store ratings" section.
This site is an eyeopener. Prices like that are definately bait and switch.
