BNC input on XH A1
Sorry if this repeats stuff from other threads, but all the answers have been theoretical rather than based on real world experience.
Taking video and audio from a press event next week. There will be pro-quality mult-boxes for television with BNC and XLR out. What would be the best way to get the feed into the A1? Can I go BNC in for video and use a XLR-RCA adapter for audio? My understanding is that XLR inputs only work in camera mode and not VCR mode. Thanks. |

Correct, the XLR jacks on the XH and XL series camcorders are outputs only.
Otherwise the setup is as you've described -- see the XH operator's manual for more details. |
