What have I done?

Noted that the top (handle) mounted zoom on one of my cams is VERY slow. When I use it i get the number 1 next to it. On the other cams I get a number 8 and they zoom fine. I'm assuming I've nudged a value in the menu somewhere but........can I find it.......nope!

Anybody care to nudge me back on course?

Hi Alastir,

There is a small wheel next to the photo botton that you can adjust the zoom speed of your camera. Page 33 in your manual.

whatever the constant speed is set on the right side of the cam will determine the speed on the handle. So if your in variable speed, flip the switch to constant speed, change speed w/ the dial on the right side. That will change your handle zoom speed as well.

...and then flip it back to variable. That way you get your "preset" constant speed on the little zoom rocker and you still get the variable speed on the big one.
