Turn Off Zoom Lever?
Hi,
I'm awfully happy with my new A1 but one thing keeps bothering me. When shooting freehanded I often hit the Zoom Lever above the cassette case on the right side of the camera. Does anyone know if it is possible to turn off the lever completely? I couldn't find anything about it in the manual but cannot believe that it isn't possible as of all the tweaking that this camera offers. Any thoughts? Thanks a lot for your help. Best Rob |

Hi,
There is no grip zoom lever lock available, but as a workaround you could switch zoom speed to constant and set it 1. Even if you hit the lever by accident, at such a low speed it will have very little effect. You can always use zoom ring on the lens for faster changes. |

Don't feel bad...
I keep hitting the standby\lock lever with my thumb and switching off the camera while shooting. :( |
