2x XH-A1 in Petrol bag - Photos
Oleg was kind enough to hook me up with a discounted Petrol PDB-1N bag (http://www.petrolbags.com/products/C...DB-1/PDB-1.htm )
http://www.thehold.co.uk/misc/2x_XH-...DB-1_-_Top.jpg http://www.thehold.co.uk/misc/2x_XH-...B-1_-_Side.jpg I measured it up as being perfect to hold two XH-A1 cams, one with WD-H72 wide angle attached, as well as a bunch of accessories/cables, Senn wireless in internal pocket, etc ... One cam has a senn mkh-416 mounted in mic holder, senn receiver in shoe. XLR cables have to be unplugged from the A1 for it to fit nicely in the bag- I'm going to solder some cables with angled XLR to stay flatter and get around this. I have a 10m XLR cable in one of the outside side pockets. Definitely didn't disappoint, fantastic bag. I have the centre divider placed slightly diagonally, which fits the lens hoods perfectly (even the big hood on the WD-H72) Hope this is useful for anyone with similar needs, Kris Last edited by Kris Bird; May 20th, 2007 at 10:31 AM. |

That bag is cool, but I'm really just jealous that you have 2 A1's...

The Petrol
Kris,
Curious to know. Do the dimensions allow this to work as a carry on? In all events, looks like a great set up. Best, Whit |
