G1 jackpack questions
Can anyone confirm the following:
the video output is uncompressed HD? i.e. roughly 2 gigs / sec. However, if I connect, let's say, a panasonic DVC Pro HD deck to this jack, can each record device downconvert this stream to its native resolution?. If this is so, then it follows that you can use a variety of HD record devices. The jack doesn't know the difference? thx |

Correct -- uncompressed, right off the chips.
