XHA1 website
Last week I started working on my new website.
It's about my A1, external hardware, HDV software and many other subjects. Until now it's completely in the Dutch language. But there is a chance I make an English mirror on the same website (the template is ready for it). I know there are at least a few Dutch A1 owners overhere. So there it is: http://www.xha1.nl |

The last few months I searched for interesting projects to work with. Just for a hobby. Well...i found some: In June we're going to London (see the other thread in this forum) to record the 3 Blind Mice concerts. I just got a 'job' as a cameraman in four zoo's. (They all form one big zoo) And in the next two years we're going to make a documantary about the history, building and people of a watertower in a town nearby. I love to write about those things and people now and then react on the articles. So why not make a new website about the camera. There is enough to write about. I also have a personal blog: www.pas54.nl which has the same design and is also made in the Dutch language. Hey...maybe someone will program a translator plugin for Wordpress. Who knows...i will be the first to use it. Thanks for the compliments. |

It's quite simple to built websites with Wordpress. I make no secret of that.
The only thing I do is a bit of rebuilding the templates other people make. I love this template because it has built in RSS feeds for every subject and I can change the skin by a simple 'click'. |

Nice site, Gert. What kind of tripod are you using in this photo? http://www.xha1.nl/wp-content/a1_extras.jpg

The tripod is not mine. It is a photo made by Raymond. He's living in Eindhoven and I believe also a member of DV(i). He told me that the tripod is a Miller 10 and the head is a Sachtler SB6. He loves that combination (me too by the way, after seeing this photo) because you can spread the whole thing so that the camera stands on a very low position. I hope this information is enough, otherwise let me know. I can ask Raymond for more information. |
