Anyone tried a 500D close up filter ? at DVinfo.net

I was just wondering how it would perform at 20x on the A1/G1 for bug videos.

These were done with our 72mm achromat on the xha1: http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthread.php?t=89469
The 500D is approx 1/4 the power...so this may give you an idea.

I bought the 500D a couple weeks ago. It works well, though I don't have any examples to post. Still learning how to compress the video down to reasonable sizes...
