Temple of the Dog--In the runnin!

Hey, just for fun I entered a little FF put on by a local radio station. Sent them a small QT of the little backyard short I did with my dog. Watch it here: http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthread.php?t=86066

I'm listed at the bottom of their festival entries page: http://www.1019theend.com/filmfest.php

It screens tomorrow night. Hope my dog helped me win a grand! :)

"Thank god you're a furry sumbitch."

Too funny.

I have two Shetland Sheepdogs myself. My favorite breed. And I friggin' HATE IT when people call them "Little Lassies". Grrr!

They're NOT Collies. Bitch.

Barlow, that was cool and entertaining! Yes, do a sequel. My wife has a little poodle that I might can do some shots of and you can mix that in too... LOL!

A feature.... I can see the title now.....

"LASSIE DOG JOEY AND THE LAST DOG BISCUIT"

Sorry, I had to say it.... Can't wait to hear how well the short went over, even in it's edited form.

Hey, thanks everyone for the comments. Much appreciated.

Screened the 1 minute version (too short!!) last night in front of a packed audience. It got a lot of laughs, but because of the family audience that night (people brought their kids) they asked me to take out stuff like "balls" and "bitch"...so...I used huevos and chump...and chump certainly didn't have as much of an impact. ;)

Here's where it gets even more ridiculous--I had deleted all my footage and even recorded over the tape quite some time ago. And I didn't have a version of my edit with no subtitles...so...I had to do some "reshoots" and even created a new love scene. :) Our neighbor's Golden Retriever just loooooves to tease him...so I added some new "spice" to the piece. Ha ha.

Basically chopped out the "sumbitch, bitch and balls" stuff and replaced it with some scenes filled with doggy tension. Ha ha.

Anyway, had a great time at the goofy little fest. There were actually some clever little films...but nobody had a dog movie filled with attitude! Maybe my pal helped me win a grand. :) I'll find out Friday morning when they announce the winner on the Chunga and Mister Morning show.

Too funny. Come to think of it, "son of a bitch" is probably not an insult in the dog world :)
