ideal setting for green back video with G1/Reflecmedia/Uncompressed 8bit
I will have the combination of Reflecmedia with green Litering, Chromat (2m x 2m), XH G1 with Decklink HD Extreme for few weeks in our demo room.
I also have a couple of Lowel video lights. I want to make some sample green back video clips for everyone to use on this forum, so I would like to ask everybody's help to achieve the best result. Please feel free to suggest me any idea, what to take, what to do. Thanks in advance. |

• Distance between the camera and the talent, to avoid green light form the Leds on the talent.
• Distance between the talent and the screen; the other day I had a chromat screen with a fold in the middle, took a while to ket a clean key out of it, the reflection doesn't work properly on folds but with a shallow depth of field it comes out okay. |

Vincent,
Thanks very much. I'm trying to keep the distance of the camera as much as possible since Reflecmedia recommends more than 3 meters. Didn't think about the DOF, right that would be better, but I don't have much room! I will try my best on this. Any suggestion about lighting? I have two video lights. How should cast be lighted? What angle? Try not to light to bleed to the chromatte? |
