Joining the A1 Fold
Just sold my XLH1 and ordered an A1 this morning. Should have it on Monday. I will miss Big Hoss but the form factor of the A1 is much more suitable for what I do.
I'll be posting footage and probably developing some new presets over the next few weeks. Stay tuned.

Hey Steven,
Glad to have you aboard, from what I've seen of it, your work is really beautiful. Been using your CP18 almost exclusively since I picked up my A1 in Jan. I was quite sad to part with my dvx, until I discovered this preset, haven't looked back. In fact, yesterday, had to intercut some old 100a footage with some sd A1 stuff, and after looking at them side by side, wondered how I lived with the dvx for so long:) ' Stu |

Welcome aboard Steven.
I think you'll find the XH-A1 a fantastic camera. I briefly owned a XL-H1 but was unhappy with the CA and the form factor, after a battle with the Sony V1 I have settled on the XH-A1. In the right hands this camera is a phenomenal tool. I know you have the right hands! :) Hope you enjoy the camera as much as I am enjoying mine. Cheers p.s. loved your BW preset that was converted to XH-A1. The best of the bunch IMO. TT Last edited by Tony Tremble; March 2nd, 2007 at 10:35 AM. Reason: adding the p.s. |
