Memory Card and Custom Presets

Hi Guys,
I have downloaded the custom presets and using a card reader, transfered them onto the supplied memory card. Using the instructions on P.77 of the manual, I have tried to transfer these to the XH A1. I can not get the camera to recognise the files let alone transfer them to the camera. I have reformatted the card with the camera. I can transfer presets from the camera to the card. I can then transfer those files back to the camera.
I am hoping someone knows the answer
Thanks in advance
Grant

On your card, create a directory called PRESET & place them there.

Hi Bill , 'create a directory on your card' is that the same as creating a folder named PRESETS. This I have done, then I copied Chris's presets
http://dvinfo.net/conf/showthread.php?t=81071
into the PRESETS folder on card then placed in camera but when I try to copy them onto camera (through Card to Camera in Custom preset section of Customize) they are not seen at all. Other items that I have copied onto the card within the camera read fine .
Any advice warmly appreciated.

Hi Graham. It's singular, not plural (one would think plural would be more logical), & it's case sensitive.

So it should be PRESET & you should be fine.

Bill is quite right... the folder needs to be called PRESET.

If you named it "PRESETS" or "preset" then it's not going to work.
