What about using the A1 as recorder

So I asking my self I never use mine Xm2 (GL2)as recorder to capture my files.
I do this with a cheap canon camera and this proces goes without loss of quality.
Can I do the same with A1 and capturing with a cheap HD camera with out loss quality ??

The HV10 is able to capture the HD footage from the XH-A1, as will the new HV20. Other cameras won't accurately read the 24F recording mode, to my knowledge.
