Nope. Very happy with my XH-A1. But, just like so many have already said/implied, it's going to be a while before I learn how to use it well.

I haven't had any dead pixels in newer gear. I think the problems I had were due to early manufacturing processes for lcds (significantly different for ccds I'd guess). I finally got a dead pixel in my XL-1 (which is why I upgraded now), but I've had it since May of 1998, - not bad.
